Our Story
From a backyard poultry farm in the early 1970s to a five-brand franchise network across Northern Mindanao — this is how Alrose Group came to be.
Timeline
Early 1970s
Aldrico Mañus — then First Vice President of Insular Bank of Asia and America — began a small poultry and piggery operation. After retiring from banking, he diversified further into table-egg production, financial services and printing.
Following years
Agri-business was led by Alrose Farms. Financial services followed through Alrose Financial (Pagadian & Molave), Golden Financials (Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Iligan) and Evergreen Lending (Cebu, Valencia, Butuan and Surigao).
1999
The family ventured into QSR, opening the first Jollibee and Greenwich stores on Aguinaldo Street, Iligan City — the seed of what would become Alrose Group.
Today
The group now operates Jollibee, Greenwich, Chowking, Red Ribbon and Mang Inasal branches across Iligan City, Lanao del Norte and Cagayan de Oro — including recent openings in Tubod.
